THE HUMAN POWERED VEHICLE CHALLENGE | FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

Rhea Mkanna, Abdallah Doumit and Pierre Ouba, a team of three Mechanical Engineering students at Notre Dame University-Louaize, built a vehicle from scratch; their target was to build a reliable structure that can be fast enough by designing an aerodynamic fairing.

The Human Powered Vehicle Challenge (HPVC) is a competition set by the American Society for Mechanical Engineers (ASME) that provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate the application of sound engineering design principles in the development of sustainable and practical transportation alternatives.

NDU students worked on this project for two consecutive semesters under the supervision of Dr. Charbel Bou Mosleh, Mechanical Engineering Department.

Rhea Mkanna, Abdallah Doumit and Pierre Ouba, you’ve made NDU proud!
